Ali G was great, great entertainment!

Borat was funny, well to begin with it was anyway

mainly because it seemed realisitic, and was believable...

Borat seemed like a real character, and he was genuinely funny..


however this stupid "Bruno" is already beginning to annoy me something chronic!

There is nothing funny about him, it isn't clever or original...there is nothing believable about it...it is just so pointless!

i just wish Sacha Baron Cohen would go away and never come back

Also, you seem a little harsh. His first failure (in your eyes, at least) and you want him gone forever? If you applied the same rule to everyone you'd pretty much be left alone in the world. Bruno is basically the same idea as the last two; an outrageous spoofy stereotype, challenging and toying with people's prejudices and preconceptions - seems like typical SBC material to me.
 
I'm really looking forward to the Bruno movie, and am a fan of Sacha's. He's come a long way over the years, so you've got to him him respect for that alone.

I remember him presenting F2F - a debate show on a small channel called Talk TV all those years ago - and now he's gone on to being a huge Hollywood star. Fair play.

You could actually see how he went on to do the Ali G and Borat characters, as similar sketches were done on the show (a 'street' rapper bloke and an Moldavan TV reporter...)

I love Borat but Bruno is great as well, can't wait to see the film, the trailer alone is frickin hilarious. Just because you don't find him funny doesn't mean others wont, he's basically just a different character doing the same as Borat, like JonJonB said.

Also who goes to see a film like Borat/Bruno for believable characters? They are both about as ridiculous as you can get, have been from the very start.
