Hey, maybe it's just me, but has anybody else noticed from all of the media sources that there are an abnormal amount of NFC teams that are supposed to be so great, dominant and "title contenders" this year?

It seems to me like there are normally about 3 teams per conferences GOING INTO the season people feel are just going to be flat out dominant or title contenders, but this year I swear I've heard the

Falcons, Giants, Eagles, Vikings, Cardinals, and Saints are all supposed to be so unstoppable....and some of the time the Cowboys and Carolina are kinda thrown into the mix....according to what I've been hearing all of these teams are supposed to be 11+ win material

What do you think???

NFC far superior to AFC this year???
Have you noticed the "hype" of all these NFC teams??

probably because the nfc is more equally balanced than the afc. if u really look into it, one of the elite from the afc makes the super bowl like every year while a team from the nfc that isnt expected in the super bowl makes it there every year seemingly.

I seem to agree with that.
Except for Falcons and Saints. Good offenses make fun to watch but weak defenses kill a team.

Right now there are 32 teams still in contention. Well, 31 if you count the lions.

Actually, I think the reason that more NFC teams are considered to have a legitimate shot is the lack of truly elite teams in the NFC. If you win in the AFC, you have to get by the defending AFC champion Steelers. To win in the NFC, you have to get past the defending NFC champion Cardinals.
