Anybody else amazed the E61 has had only one FW update?

Call it jonesin for another firmware update but man I wish Nokia would roll out the new goodies faster for what IMO is the best S60v3 phone on the market.
 
I'm not sure I can deal with another update. Overall I think...I think my phone is running smoother after the update but the BT volume was never fixed and the fact that you have to hold down the function key for all web based features is just flat out annoying. Mine was extremely stable out of the gate and my only initial gripe was the BT volume....well now that's not fixed and the web is more 2 handed. The font enhancements on messaging and notes were actually a HUGE plus and almost worth the headache of the function key issue. So back on topic, I'm not sure I can deal with another update unless it really fixes that headset issue. I usually dont stick with my s60's long enough to worry about the updates. I'm hoping the N95 will last as my wife is really getting sick and tired of the constant inventory change.
 
My e61 is doing just fine on the original firmware. Maybe I'm not picky, or I'm easily amused....I dunno. After all the "features" in the latest firmware, I don't see an upgrade in my future anytime soon. The whole "if it ain't broke...." idea is what I'm going with.
 
other than increased visibility of the fonts for messaging and notes and calendar entries i'm not sure the upgrade is truly worth it considering the sacrifice made with the new keystroke implementation.
 
It's the two-handed surfing that was the kicker for me. Coming from an 8125, I love the one-handed use the e61 provides and the small amount of fixes in the new FW just doesn't compare, IMO.
If the next upgrade takes away the reliance on the blue function key AND makes some nice improvements, then I'll be all over it.
 
Wise decision...and I use the browser at the very least 1 full hour a day and many times more and it's such a pain in the FN A$$. Even Opera depends on the blue and thats even more obnoxious as the 6 and 9 let you fast scroll so you could sip a cup of coffee or smoke a cigarette and browse. Now obviously you can not. Lucky BD! Wish I hadnt done it as VOIP will never be a feature I use as my company pays my Cell bill anyway
 
....just remembered another big positive in the upgrade btw.....my wifi speeds have increased significantly since the upgrade. I clocked my speed moments before and after the upgrade and the difference was alarming....from 1mb to 1.6mbs and the speed was more than noticeable....just to add to the confusion of whether it is wise to upgrade or not
 
It's a bit younger than the E61...took a while for the first update..yours should be up soon I would think. Are you having issues with it?
 
The one issue that I think needs addressing is the themes installation and installation.

Thats the only one I can think of off the top of my head.
