any word if the 1st mytouch will get the 2.0 update?

any word if the 1st mytouch will get the 2.0 update cause i have been reading online that it will not but all of the stuff i read is like 2 or 3 months old
 
to 2.X

the eoriginal mytouch 3G will not get the update 2.X. there are rumors that the mytouch limited edition will get it with the 3.5mm headphone jack will get it. sorry to disappoint u, i was disappointed as well i have the original mytouch3G. me leaving the G1 made no sense now that i looked at it. the mytouch was suppose to be the getting updated 1 more time but they scrapped that idea i guess. G1 = Mytouch 3G waste of money if u asked me. just get the nexus one
