any way to transfer cellphone games from computer to cell phone?

for my samsung gravity 3, it has a micro sd card slot but, i dont see any folders for games or apps, is there any way? i tried to copy from sd card to phone but it blocks the "game" section. i really dont wanna pay for games so, any help? thanks
