OK, one day i decided to humor myself going on this stupid horoscope and IQ test sites that you all must have seen all over the web, with those flashy graphics and stuff. I went to take this IQ test, answered all the questions, and at the end, they asked me for my cellphone number, so that they will text me my result. So far, all i have been getting are these stupid annoying advertisements, and when my phone bill came in, THEY EFFIN CHARGE ME $1.25 FOR EACH ADVERTISEMENT I RECEIVE FROM THAT COMPANY!!! The warning was hidden too! How freaking low is that!?! Just the most ridiculous thing that has ever happened to me in my life. Anyway I can explain nicely to my billers about this problem? Or any other tips? Please help me

I would call you cell phone company, chances are you can explain what happened and the cell phone company can reverse the charges. IF a regular agent won't or can't do it for you, politely ask to speak to a supervisor and talk to him about it, it's alot easier for them to remove the charges than to spend money talking to you on the phone for an hour.

Call them or somehow contact customer service as soon as possible, and then tell them that you want to cancel your horoscopes or whatever, and you didn't see the warning and you didn't know that you were going to get charged. If after this they don't offer you a refund, then you should ask for one, because you didn't know before. If they don't want to offer you one, tell them that you were thinking about switching. If you have been with them for a while though, then you should tell them that you have been with them for a while, and you have never had this kind of trouble with them or something. You can get creative. :) Good luck getting a refund!

You are probably S.O.L. since you gave your number to a scammy site. For future reference, don't do that - and a get a plan for your phone that has cheaper texting!
