Any vibey, dark lounge-y bars in Sydney, where the clientéle is diverse (age, ethnicity, sex. pref.)?

It's rather difficult to not have $19 cocktails when you want to go to a trendy place. Especially when you are looking for something loungey. Most diverse bars are there because they have cheap drinks and more people can afford
"cheap". They also play music much too loudly. You can't lounge.
For a more laid back, quieter location, you would need to cater to a smaller crowd - one way to do that is to keep out the riff-raff by charging more per drink. If you can only afford 2 drinks at one location as opposed to 6 drinks at this other, nosier place, which one would you chose?



Thanks for watching my back, Mac. I think MY problem is that I assume that most people who are asking a question really do want an answer or in some cases, are here to play and make friends.
I think this person had a fight with their 'significant other' and since they are obviously the 'sub' in their relationship and couldn't take it out on their DOM, had to find a way to fight back. More's the pity.

Heres a good idea, if you don't like the $19.00 cocktails, then don't drink them. They do have $3.00 water too you know.
