we are waiting for the order to come and i ordered the smallest supply one can get just to see if it helps as nothing else has. has anyone used this or can give me advice?

I used proactive for the first time when i was about 15, didnt really have bad acne just a few pimple here and there, and i can honestly say it is as efective as any over the counter acne medication. Yeah it leaves your face smooth, but it can also cause harsh dryness, it did give me a break form breakouts for a while, but after a while i guess it just stopped working. Not all that great really not worth all that money. My friend has really bad acne and he started using it the same time i did and up to today he still has really BAD acne. your better off saving that money to get a professional facial which might really help to deep cleanse the pores.

I would be very carefull with Pro Activ, the product can work ok and reduce acne, although it is nothing spectacular for its price, quite a celebrity hyped product, and you are automatically put onto a monthly contract without notice.

Also bear in mind it is a Benzyl Peroxide or Salictic Acid based product, so there are other better alternatives.

I used proactiv and i have to disagree with most of the posts on here mine was bad, as in REALLY REALLY bad i think it covered every inch of my face, i used it and it worked amazing, my face cleared up, i barely get any anymore, plus it never left my face with hrash dryness or anything, im sorry if it didnt work for some people but i never have had a problem with it i would encourage people to use it not discourage them because it is endorsed by celebrities.

i only paid $22 for the month supply to see if it works not too much money to try something after trying other things and if it doesnt work at least i tried.

I tried it for 2 weeks and I had to stop because alot of pimples were surfacing. I stop for about a week and started the process over again. I had foolishly bought a kit so I figured I'd better finish the product before moving onto the next. It did an okay job. I just wished it got rid of the ugly existing scar I had prior to taking it.

I have a moderate to severe acne, but my skin is also very sensitive. Would proactiv not be a good choice? It's so frustrating b/c the acne is bad, but my skin gets dry & irritated very easily.

If you have dry and/or sensitive skin --- proactiv isn't the product for you. That, I can assure you. All proactiv is a benzoyl peroxide treatment. The benzoyl peroxide will overdry your skin. Additionally, the scrubbing [exfoliating] will cause you to breakout.

I hope you didn't get the product because of the infomercials. Those infomercials can fool people with a few pimples here and there --- but no one with moderate or worse.

Pro Activ is so-so. sometimes i see results other times it just dries me out. All in all, I'm not satisfied with the product. I feel that regular facials and a glycolic acid complex works wonders. I try to go every 6-8 weeks for a facial. That's what has given me the most improvement over any product.

ive been using proavtiv for a couple weeks now and ive noticed less blackheaRAB, smooth skin but im still getting some breakouts. Im gonna give it some more time of course. otherwise it doesnt seem to over dry my skin or anything. i only use the lotion at night so that may be why

Proactiv does not work. I know alot of people who used it and it did nothing for them. It sure did not do anything for me, except to leave me with dry skin and irritation. The commercials make it seems as though it is the best acne product and it really isn't. The best thing will always be natural products. Proactiv has too much chemicals. I must admit though, the mask was good. It is rich in sulfur and that is good for acne prone skin.
