My iMac new in February has some oddities. I was with Windows for twenty plus years so not sure about some things with the Mac.

iPhoto cannot find my photos. How do I relink them? I manually found them in another folder on the drive. It just shows them as thumbnails in the iPhoto software.

Should I be able to install to any folder when I install software or is it to any device listed. The 'Install location" does not allow me anything except the hard drive.
