okay so I have decided to do my dissertation on space photography instead of lightning.. I was just wondering does this sound like a good outline/introduction? and can you suggest any ways of improving it? cheers... [[it's not finished btw]]
"For my dissertation I have decided to look at space photography and the purposes behind it. I have chosen this subject because I feel that although generally these images are taken for the purposes of scientific observation and analysis, they are quite beautiful and unique and offer the chance to see the world from a completely new perspective.
I am planning on visiting the natural history museum in south Kensington because they have a large section dedicated to space and planetary exploration. Hopefully there will be some information there about photography in outer-space and the photographs that are constantly being taken by space crafts, such as the Apollo 17 [which took the first full image of Earth on December 7th, 1972]. I will also try to send some questionnaires to astronomers clubs and people who take images of space, although it is very unlikely I will get any responses, so hopefully I will be able to get something at the natural history museum [to be my primary source]."
