Any suggestions for song parodies?

My LA teacher wants us to write song parodies (with only 6 days left of school??? -.-) and to be honest I don't have ANY ideas (totally screwed at this point.) so what I'm asking for is 1. a song that you think is easy to make a good parody out of and 2. a topic for the parody.

dont know of the name of the artist is but i am sure you have heard this song, it is a female artist:
"im like a bird
i wanna fly away,
i dont know where my home is,
i dont know where my soul is."

now try it something like this:
"im like a turd
i wanna float away.
i dont know where my home is,
i dont know where the bowl is."

it has potential... and most likely get you a laugh in class too. lol

p.s. if you use my idea, please send me a copy of the finished song. i wanna know how creative you are with it.
