Any solution to bypass iPhone 4 activation without original sim or activation card?

I'm in Brazil and I can't find a phonebook sim card or similar to activate. The iphone is with iOS 4. I received it today and it's active but I can't backup my SHSH I need update to 4.0.1 but if I update I can't active it. Does Umbrella backup SHSH in a inactive iphone ?

It can not unlock now. But you can save your shsh 4.0.1 (The Firmware Umbrella). If you're lucky, you can save shsh 4.0.

I don't want to unlock now just active it! I think Umbrella will not save shsh with the iphone inactive? What you think?
 
I told that I don't have where to buy, I order one but it will take centuries to arrive.
What about the answer of my last mail Sweden ?
 
Trust me umbrella will saved your shsh blobs in file and in server, even it's inactive I tried & tested it to my 3gs. just google firmware umbrella and click advanced to saved the file from 4.0 and 4.0.1.
Still even if you saved your shsh I think you really need the simcard, I have a gut feeling that the new jailbreak release by comex or dev team will be the same as SPIRIT, will not work in an unactivated iphone.
That's only what I think, just be always on the safe side right.

Thanks again Joieboy2005. When I receveid my iPhone 4 it's come acvtive (and it's yet) but with 4.0 and I couldn't backup SHSH anymore. To backup SHSH I need upgrade to 4.01 and them the phone will be unactivated. IF SPIRIT be release first it won't be necessary the SHSH I think. So the best for me is keep the phone active with 4.0 and wait for jailbreak and the simcard, wich come first, because I really think that will take more then a month to simcard arrive here.
What you think ?
 
yeah that's good oh OK it's great thinking LOL just wait till the new JB/Unlocked arrive. used it as an ipod right now, at least when they released it you're ready even it needed an activated iphone or not. CHEERS!!
