Any Skyfire fans?

I've got a few of their albums and I love their music... but what's their deal, it seems like they can't get signed to a label.

What genre are they? I heard "melodic deathmetal" but I wouldn't say that. They don't have death vocals. Their vocals are like black metal vocals but their music is all energetic melodic and happy and puts me in a good mood. I think they use major key signatures more than any other metal band.
 
I actually REALLY don't like them. Granted I only heard their debut when it came out. The melodies are waaay overdone so that it almost sounRAB like techno. I believe they have 2 keyboard players in the band (WTF?). If you dig it though, that's cool.
