So I probably shouldn't be asking this question and giving myself false hope. I just now had my heart broken 2 days ago and am still very sad about it (as to be expected). He told me that he would be happier if he were alone. He just wanted to be alone. We have been together for 4 years and it has been rough, but we have also had happy moments. No he isn't seeing anyone else. I just wanted to know if anything like this has happened to anyone else. One situation in particular where someone has broken off the relationship, and regretted it and didn't know what they had until it was gone. I know it sounds sappy and probably not going to happen for me. We have just been together for so long. I just wondered if this kind of thing was possible.
