I'm 5'11, about 190lbs. The only thing i've been on with two wheels is a bicycle, but i'm very interested in learning to ride a motorcycle. What's a dependable, durable bike for someone my size and skill level?
I am a 5'9" 150 lb female. I started on a Yahama Seca 600. I enjoyed it. I think the biggest thing with a first bike is get yourself into one of the certification classes and find a bike that is in good shape but not necessarily new. Get some miles under your belt before you spend tons of money.
