I am highly interested in psychology, it will be my major in college and I'll also further my studying to be able to become a psychologist. I want to find books that will contain information of many different aspects when it comes to psychology topics...since I'm a starter I don't know which book to go for ...does anyone have any recommendations?
SORRY! SPELLING MISTAKE ON QUESTION TITTLE!

There's all SORTS of stuff out there!

For my money, Jung in many ways was partially ahead of the pack
because his focus tended to be the structure of an understanding
and thereby use-of the abstract, for purpose of advancing what
we perhaps piggishly call civilization [terms are mine].

I swear by these books as well, have doneso at least a dozen times
over the past couple years here:

The Noonday Demon / an Atlas of Depression ~ Andrew Solomon

The Orphaned Adult ~ Alexander Levy

The Second Seduction ~ Frances Lear

You'll marvel at the plethora of richness gleaned from and within their pages.
