The were a great band. Audioslave isnt anything bad though still enjoy their music. I have to agree Tom Morello is a guitar god.

^^ Yep. I can't get enough of it. Everything from the message to the hypnotic riRAB to the screams/vocals and just overall energy is fierce/powerful. I love it.

Rage Against the Machine and Battle for Los Angeles were by far their best albums. Evil Empire and Renegades are way too inconsistant for my blood.

Why does no one understand that Renegades is an album almost entirely made of cover songs!

That said, their cover of The Ghost of Tom Joad is badass.
