Any Picassa advice? Edited photos are not uploading to my Picassa Web Album?

I use a Mac and my Picassa is not uploading edited photos to my Picassa web albums. I'm noticing mainly it is not transferring the color enhancement. For example - I cropped a picture and brightened the color, and when I uploaded it to my web album it showed the cropped picture without the color enhancing. Any ideas???
