This is the British director and writer, famous for his horror "exploitation" films in the 1970s.
Most of his films have a grisly seediness which I love.
Undoubtably his finest hour is the trilogy of House of Whipcord, Frightmare, and House of Mortal Sin, but others like Schizo and Die Screaming Marianne are also very good ( the titles say it all really)
He managed to procure the services of some fine British charactor actors,including the late great Sheila Keith.
