...learning how to walk? My son is 13 months old. He has been very early in terms of all developmental milestones - he turned over early, he will his head up, sat up, crawled... all really early. He has been walking while holding onto things since he was 8 months and everyone kept saying- watch he'll start walking any day now. He walks about 5 steps on his own now and then sits down or falls. What is really strange is that he sits down if we watch him walk- it's like he's embarrassed or something- what makes it strange is that he didn't do this when he started to crawl or do anything else. My doctor says its normal but I was just wondering if anyone had a similar experience and how long after did your child walk fully on his/her own without sitting down? I am not concerned at all I am just curious as to why he reached all his milestones so early- is walking different?
