1st change at 1000k
Second at 6000k and every 6000 km after.

Interesting though that Suzuki says oil has to be dropped every 6000km and filter only needs to be changed every 12000km.

I'm doing 2nd oil change tonight and for the $14 it costs, I'll replace the filter every time

I got my c109r in April. Love it ! I have a few questions ............... Does anyone have a vibration problem between 60 and 70 ? It puts my hands to sleep Any suggestions ?

Adjust the bars and bring them up a little. I had a similar problem because I was leaning and pushing more on the right hand side. It you loosen the risers and bring them up a little higher, it may help.

Otherwise, put a throttle boss or something on it to give you a rest.

I bought C109R in June. Love the power, very comfortable ride, but am having problem with loud chirping noise that seems to coinside with RPMS. Have you noticed any such noise.

Hey Guys, I am going to pick up my pre approved check on Tues or Weds for a C109RT. Still debating on it, but it sure is a nice bike. For those who already have a C109, does it have a fuel gage? If so is it a bar graph like the C90?
Also does anyone know what kind of wear can be expected from that rear tire? From what I understand, it is a harder compound than that on the M109. My stock Bridgestones on the C90, I swapped out at about 14500 miles. Do you think the RT will last that long? Thanks in advance.

It has a fuel guage with LCD bars and a light that will start to blink if you are getting low.
As for rear tire wear, it all depends on your riding style. I got 7500 on my C50T.
At first the C109RT seemed so big, but after the first day it seemed to be like just fit me. Much more room for me and the wife.

I have purchased a c109r Suzuki Blvd, and am hearing a loud chirping noise when RPM's are 2000 RPM or higher. Is anyone else having this problem. The techs at dealership believe the sound is caused by air intake or electronic fuel injection. I have confronted Suzuki about this matter and they state this is a normal engine sound. Believe me it is far from normal. the sound is there in all gears and the bike does not even have to be moving. to me the sound is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

I think I know the noise that you are talking about. I wouldn't be too worried if the dealer says it is ok. Mine has a slight chirping also and I think that this is normal for this engine. I think that mine has gotten quieter or I have just gotten used to it and don't notice it any more.

I got my C109RT yesterday....All I have to say so far is WWWWOOOOOOWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That thing is ate up with power...for a big beast, it seems fairly well balanced and neutral in handling.......I love it.....Skip D

The reservoir is on the left side, similar location to most other bikes.
Almost under the passenger pegs hidden behind the cover at the back of the engine.

I got my c109r 2 weeks ago and i cant get off it =(.
only time it cooled down enough for it to be washed was on a rainy day.
is there a fix for this problem? it already has over 2000 miles.
the thing is a beast! plenty of power and loves to cruise at 80mph.

I took my C109R for it's first oil change and check-up yesterday. I really enjoy riding the bike. Before this one, I had a M109R and I much perfer riding the C109. It feels more like riding a crusier. I want to replace the stock mufflers with a set of Cobra Dragster Pipes. I had these on my M109R and they sounded great.

I really want the vance & hines pipes. i got an email from them telling me they should be available later this year. so when spring comes ill have a set!
its just preference i love the muscle car sound of the v&h pipes.

Thanks
Lon
