I have a 2010 FLHTK and am totally ticked off with this rear brake shudder. The dealership either says they don't feel it, or it is normal. Both excuses are unacceptable. I previously owned an '09 Road King with ABS, no issues and another 2010 FLHTK again no issues. Then how can it be "normal" on this bike? I really notice it when I am slowing down below 30 mph right up and until the bike comes to a stop. It is only the rear brake and is very pronounced when I use the rear brake alone. I noticed this within 1 mile of leaving the dealership with this bike and yet nothing is being done. I now have about 1200 miles on the bike and the problem most certainly is NOT getting better. In addtion there is also a very pronounced "rubbing" noise that appears to be coming from the rear wheel. Again, the "techs" don't hear that either. It is very frustrating to buy a HD for over 25K and the thing brakes like crap. Hopefully enough people have this problem and force HD to fix it. I have considered filing a lemon law claim here in PA if it does not get fixed. As a matter of fact the first time I came to a stop with the gf on back she asked me what was wrong with the bike shakeing ! And yet the dealership doesn't think there is anything wrong. At least reading the posts here convinces me that it is indeed a problem and not a figment of my imagination.
