Any news on the new garfield series?

Well, Coulier voiced Pete in one season two episode "Transylvanian Home Sick Blues," but I guess since that one the last one syndicated, all other Coulier Peter's appeared the following seasons. Personally I wasn't big on the change. I mean, yes, Murray played a good Garfield voice in the movies, but I couldn't imagine an animated Garfield sounding like that. I'd vote for someone who sounds more like Lorenzo. After all, I hear that was the reason they changed Peter's voice. They didn't want him sounding like Garfield. Now, I have seen some recent ads with Garfield talking (Ex: Littermaid). Whoever did the voice there did his best to sound like Music. I'd vote for whoever that was.
 
Having been a fan of Real Ghostbusters from the beginning, I can tell you this. Coulier took over as Peter in Season 2 (1987). The title was amended to Slimer! & the Real Ghostbusters after the 2nd movie came out in '89, which extended the series an extra 2 years (cancelled in '91).

On a related note, they also changed Winston in season 2. Buster Jones took over for......Arsenio Hall.
