Any new fun PC games out?

I really like the Sims 2 games. There are a variety of types out there, like Sims 2 Apartment Life, Sims 2 Glamour Stuff, Sims 2 Seasons, and waaaay much more! I think Sims 3 is coming out soon, and I hope ti will be better than the current Sims 2. If you don't want to wait, I highly recomend Sims 2 if you are a creative, patient person (:
 
I was wondering if there are any cool new games out. I don't want .swf games. I'm talking fully developed, games that have plot, and a lot of fun packed into every byte. 2D, 3D dosen't matter much. Just some new cool fun game. Also if there are any old great games, that most people miss that you like post it. And if there is a game that you just think is insanely awesome no matter how old it is post that too. I like single player more than multilayer games, unless it supports local games.
