any mountain bike advice to give?

Today i am the proud owner of a Cannondale F4. Its been awhile since ive done much mountain biking and its been long since sold my old bike. But ive done some mountain boarding and i have a full faced oniel fury helmet, but i think that it is a bit much for me, i mean im not gonna be hitting insane jumps and catching huge air (not on purpose at least) Do you think i should get a helmet more along the lines of this http://www.amazon.com/Fox-Flux-Helmet-Charcoal-S/dp/B0012DM9AS/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1230096209&sr=8-2, or is it common to see full faced helmets worn on single track and etc etc.ha any more advice y'all have on the topic would be cool.
 
I ride my bike a lot and I don't wear a helmet. I am total xtreme hardcor3 bro
