Im a massive fan of the original and the New Generation is a guilty pleasure of mine I have to admit!
Loved the 2000s reboot of the series, sum real stand-out scary moments and the grainy style that both movies were shot in were ace.
Are there plans for any further sequels or is the franchise no more??

Bay's company, who made the last two reboot films, have no Massacre films in the pipeline(as well as some of the other production companies involved), so I would assume not unless another company has picked it up?

Yeah,Platinum Dunes, which made the last two, have got no future plans for another TCM.However, there were genuine reports that Lionsgate/Twisted pictures wanted to make a reboot after they finished up with the Saw franchise. It was also revealed Kim Henkel was writing the screenplay.

Not heard anymore since then.

I really hope they do another one, according to the first film the hewitt family killed 33 people between 1969 and 1973 so there are plenty more stories to be told:)

Loved the original and the remake really wasn't too bad - it captured the distress and panic of the first film.

Unfortunately, I had the completely uncut version delivered on DVD (I'd only seen the cut version) and wasn't quite ready for it. :o
