Any mention about the Freemasons and the art of hiding the truth on plain sight?

Who first mentioned that the best place to hide the truth is on plain sight?
Please answer the question... I am not asking what you think or believe about Freemasons, but who quoted first: The best place to hide the truth is on plain sight.

That was one of the tenets of the Knight's Templar, i think I read somewhere, and there is a lot of truth to it. I do not know if it originated with The order, I have never heard that. We are usually too busy trying to dominate the world at our meetings (sarcasm for Pat).

The biggest secret is that there really are no big secrets.

They're obviously not doing a good job. I just watched a History Channel special exposing these fraudsters. Did you know they want world domination?

EDIT: You think I'm joking? Stop drinking your Kool-Aid, people. The Freemasons along with the Illuminati, the Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission, and the Committee on Foreign Relations are all part of a secret shadow government. I recommend you all visit prisonplanet.com.

I never heard that and my dad is a Mason.

To Pat and some of the others: Too many conspiracy theories , you've been listening to. I thought Art Bell retired, Si I guess you're getting it from Fox News or some other moronic source. The Masons today are simply a fraternity of men.

As I said My dad is a Mason and all I have ever known them to do is to try to make good men better. He certainly doesn't want to dominate anybody. He is a kind, caring, loving Christian man and one of the most tolerant, progressive people i have ever known.
