Any information on breeding Mini Schnauzers?

I have a 2 year old female mini schnauzer and were planning to breed her because we know she's going to go on heat soon. We haven't chosen the Stud Dog yet, but we're working on it... I think she's going to have about 1-3 puppies so how much would it cost raising them? And how does the logic work in selling them. I'm just worrying about the papers! I saw quite a lot of them when we bought our dog...

I don't want to be there when the dogs are mating, so I'm depending on my mum to be there with the male dogs owner.

So any information I could get?
