I' am currently 14 years old and have Design Technology classes at school. For this term me and my class are getting a building kit containing a miniature VToL, a Vertical take-off and Landing device which consists of a motor with a propeller on top. We have to construct it ourselves which really isn't an issue because there's a manual with it, but the real problem is I have to design and make a theme around it. I have to try to use as much materials as possible, so wood, metals, cloth, paper etc. Also I have to shape the materials, so the wood wouldn't be just a plank, but a wooden plank with some sort of design in it.(sorry if you don't get it!) Now because of the propeller and engine (like a helicopter), I was thinking of some sort of army based theme, (if you have any good ideas please tell me 
) Now my question is, what materials do you think I should use? What colors? What shapes? I' am not asking this because I' am lazy and I don't feel like it, but because I have to browse the internet and ask people (it's part of the assignment). So any help would be very welcome, so I hope some of you creative people have some good ideas!!
