In 1997 there was a tv made movie with Bruce Campbell that i personally liked but obviously tore the story behind herbie in half.
I havent seen it in years and havent seen the originals in even longer time.
In the tv movie as i understand it, they claim a nazi stooge created herbie.
what did the original movies claim it as?
