I want to set an mp3 that i have on my computer as an sms notification but im unaware as to how to do this. Can anyone help me?

on your sdcard, make a folder titled notifications, and place the file in that folder.

How do i do that do i just create a new folder on my home screen and name it Notifications or what

I think im just making this harder then it is. Where do i go to put a folder or when i make one does it just go there?

You mount your phone and on your sdcard right click your mouse, select new, rename it notifications, put the notification tone you want in the folder, unmount your phone. Go to menu>settings>sound>notification ringtone and select it.
