Any good authors that u would recommend 4 anybody 2 read?

I'm 18 and i'm looking 4 some good authors. i want something a little in my age group, but a little of adult. if u know what i mean?
an author that can keep my attention and is interesting.
doesn't matter on what type....i like all kinds of books, as long as it's interesting.
