Any good Authors for teen girls?

I want to know if there's any authors that do the typical, high school girl books, you know like, The Serious Kiss by Mary Hogan, or Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson.

Please say any authors that aren't too popular, yes I have read Twilight, yes it's a pile of horse dung :)
I have just ordered Noughts and Crosses, it ;looks interesting. :P

I love all sorts of teen books but I love high school ones best at the moment.

The Hunger Games is amazing!!!
 
Im just a boy but we read this book in school and it seemed like girls get more of a kick out of it than boys, however, i will admit it was a pretty good book and i think this author writes some other girl stories also, her name is "Irene Hunt" and the book we read was called "Up a Road Slowly"
 
Well i just got done reading ROOM by Emma Donaghue. She is an amazing writer and i think she must win some sort of award. Her words capture you in a reading trance. it is as if you are the charecter. I have only expiranced this once in my life time. it is an amazing feeling. I feel as though everyone must read it.

Also, Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard is an amazing series. These are my favorite authors.
