Any GM Mechanics out there?

Hi. We just bought a 2005 Cadillac Escalade. THere seems to be a problem with the instrument panel. The Tachometer is stuck between zero and about 1000 RPM and it's very jumpy. THe Speedometer is now stuck at 100. And yesterday the gear selector lights stopped working. But they started again last night.

So is this an electrical problem, like a loose connection or does the whole cluster need to be replaced? Everything else, all lights and radio and other electronics work fine.

Any informed help would be appreciated.
 
It could be a loose connection, but its probably gonna require replacing the cluster. if youre a do-it-yourselfer you can check the connection when you're removing it.
