Any doctors in the house?

I've been throwing up since around 6:30 Thursday night, about every fifteen minutes or so.

All throughout the night it was mostly dry heaves.

However, I've been throwing up bile lately, and in interesting colors, namely bright yellow, pale blue green, and green.

I have been unable to keep any liquids down, and I'm about 3% dehydrated.


Is there anything I can take or drink that will stop the vomiting or at least let me sleep through it all? Sleep has eluded me so I'm exhaused.


Oh and if any of you get sick from reading this, I'm sorry.
 
Have insurance? E-room.

No insurance? Go to bed....though you do need to go to the e-room if you're dehydrated. Hospital bills suck, but sometimes they're necessary.
 
It's 3% dehydrated, which just means my mouth is dry.

I do drink some water, but not a lot, because I don't want to overload my stomach.

Oh and I don't recommend trying to keep it down by swallowing vomit down. It tastes like watered down jizz.
 
Phenergan (Promethazine) will stop it immediately, however you have to get a doc to prescribe it to you..(this isn't hard actually, one trip to the e-room -tell them you can't stomach the taste of bismuth- and viola)

Try Pepto-Bismol.
 
I usually drink fanta when I vomit(tummy disease), my mom has always said that eating jogurth n such is good..

try eating salt(very little) and then drink..if you don't vomit as soon as you got it swallowed the salt might get into your body and take some water with it :happysad:
 
How are you ascertaining this 3% figure? If you've been dry heaving and puking bile for as long as you say I would think you are more than just a little dry in your mouth.

This is just a guess.
 
You might try drinking Pedia-sure. Yeah it's for kids. Bite me. It's pretty decent at keeping your vitamins and minerals up.

Learned that while getting a racing dog off of Meth. You have no idea how much a 75 pound Greyhound can puke when he's detoxing. It comes out in gallons.
 
Are you over stressed? Stress will make you puke a lot. Wierd, eh?

If you are puking for more than 3 days you need to go to a doctor. If you can't afford a doc go to the county hospital ER and tell them you don't have insurance and will need financial assistance when you arrive.

Not drinking water, pure water, and puking a lot kills people. And, your body uses water for healing a lot more than you would think, so....

Whenever I vomit, it's usually my body's way way of telling me "Asshole!! You've should've stopped {4 beers / 6 shots / half a bottle } ago!!!!".

Before doing anything else, drink some water. Seriously, drink a couple of glasses and chill. Then drink some more (water). Follow DG's advice. Humans are 75% water.
 
If you're getting interesting colors, I'd start wondering if your appendix has taken a turn for the worse. Or your gallbladder.

Your appendix would be located on your lower right side of the abdomen, at about waist level, and if it doesn't hurt on it's on, when you exert pressure on it directly, you'll really really feel it. If you're off by a little, it won't be so bad, but you should be able to find the immediate source of the problem by poking around a bit.

My appendix was messed up and until the doc hit the exact place it didn't hurt, then he'd poke right on it and about make me jump through the roof. I was puking for 3 days before hand, and didn't really have an 'abdomen ache'. Just couldn't keep food down.

But hey, i'm not a doctor.
 
If it's food poisoning :hug2:. Dear God that's the worst feeling I've felt and I lost 10lbs in 4 days because looking at food made me want to puke. You feel dehydrated and you get this deathly pallor, which makes you think you should have went to the doctor before day 3.
