i'm a 16 year old girl...and i think i've had this for about a month...
after tossing and turning to get to sleep, i drift out of sleep very suddenly sometimes and i feel really sick and frightened, it's like a sudden crash, then i drift back to sleep. people say that when i'm asleep, i'm feverish to the touch and twitch and toss and turn and panic when they try to wake me up. when i wake up finally after drifting in and out of sleep, i'm feverish and feel sick and still panicked and all my blankets and pillows are scattered. i'm really confused for a bit, too, and i don't know where i am or who i am or why i woke up...or what day and month it is...and even if i don't remember the dream, i remember feeling really, really frightened in it.
i think this is night terrors though, right? or is it parasomnia? or both?
and what can i do.....?
