Any difference between Aldactone/Spiro?

My dermatologist just gave me a prescription for Aldactone and my mom picked up the pills for me. But she came back with the generic Spironolactone instead of the brand name. I was wondering if there is any difference and should we take it back to switch for Aldactone?

I'm going to call the doctor on Monday when they're open but I was wondering if anyone has any experience on this as well. Thanks

I wouldn't worry about it at all.I'm on spironolactone and it works great.I have never been one to notice a difference with generics though

Thanks for the reply! My doctor was open yesterday and she told me Spiro was fine.
