I just recently turned 18, just recently got my first job, and graduate high school in January.

I'm tired of hanging on by a thread while watching my friends wallow in happiness. I'm tired of valuing my job to receive nothing while my friends slack and rake in the benefits. I'm tired of having to cover for my parents' lies at the risk of losing my home. I'm tired of being punished for what's not my fault!!!
 
Go on strike. hay ho, you've got nothing to loose. Benefits are always available.
 
Break ties with your family.

Then save 100$ every paycheck... BUDGET then as the years go on, increase this saving by 50% to 75$... you can be a millionaire by the time you are 60... honest. You dont really need a fancy degree or even come from a rich family.

I grew up in a wealthy family. I am the daughter of a billionaire... he taught MANY classes on getting rich and it's really simple. You just need to know what you are doing with money, get a financial ad visor and ABOVE ALL.... "PAY YOURSELF FIRST!!!!"
I'vee been saving since I was 12 years old. I'm not a big spender and growing up around money obsessed folks, the habit kind of grew on me. Through my inter ships, young Entrepreneur days, landscaping and allowance savings, I managed to save over 29,000 from ages 12-18. I wa sborn rich, but I wanted to work for my things. Now my spoiled sister... you think Paris Hilton is bad... my sister will make PH look like a charitable nun.


You have to have that DRIVE... that PASSION to get more MONEY!
 
At least your parents don't expect you to start paying them when you get a job (not of a legal age to yet).
 
Definitely leave them. Go to a far away college and start your own life. You deserve it.

Actually I am sick of scrapping by. It's been like this during these periods.
1990-2002; Scraping by!
and
2004 to Present time.
Scraping by. It sucks, it's aweful. Even after earning a degree it's still not any better.

I have decided to listen to the Christian preachers and follow the religious path.
