I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. The tach and speedo stopped working, I am sure its just a loose connection between the wire harness and the gage cluster. My problem is I can't see how to get any of the gray plastic trim moldings off, that surrounds the dash gages. I have had alot of Chrysler products and most usually had just one piece of trim at the bottom of the dash display that just would squeeze, unsnap, and pop up and out. That would expose a few screws at the bottom edge of the dash gage display pod, You would remove those screws, then the gage pod would pop out of the dash, bottom first. Then its easy to work on the gages once that gage pod is popped out, you can see all the wiring on the back of it. How do I get any trim pieces off this '06 Ram ? I don't really see any seems or gaps in the gray trim around the display. It looks like one big solid unit of plastic. I guess I am not seeing the trick to getting this trim off - can someone with experience on this truck help me, preferably an experienced/certified dodge chrysler mechanic. Thanks alot.
