OK, get your blender out.
16 oz can of tomatoes (the fresh tend to ferment if not used quickly)
1/2 roughly chopped red onion
4-6 jalapeno, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon Mexican oregano
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon coriander
a bit of salt
Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse until you obtain desired consistency. You can make it chunky or smooth.
Taste the jalapeno before you put them in blender since some tend to be hot, while others are certainly not. If yours are not hot and you want a hot salsa, add in more chili, a serrano or two, or red chili pepper flakes.
The hot sauce will get tastier after a couple of hours.
