Any apps to send FAX direct from phone?

is there any way to fax existing PDF or DOC files that I have on my phone? Seems like there should/would be a program for this, no?

what about a program for RECEIVING faxs on my phone, and converting them to PDF files (or the like)? Does this exist? Both seem very practical!

i know some companies offers for nominal fees recieve faxes for you and e-mail them to your account. call one of such companies and find out if they can acept your e-mail and fax it at your request... also if you use your phone as a fax modem connected to a notebook PC or even PDA you can fax stuff from your PDA

yeah I already have an account like this, and although it works great, its $10 a month. I was hoping my phone could do all of this for free...oh well
