However I believe Yahoo Answers wouldn't be the place you can really meet people, there are many other websites particularly designed for this kind of aim. You can meet millions of people, especially from your area (unless you want an internet based relationship). Just search for friendship websites, there are so many.
 
You should try Yahoo Personals. Or Cupid.com. Those are good places for you to help find what you're looking for. More so than Yahoo Answers.
