I was on Prozac for 15 years...down to 5mg pd...but decided to stop as I was feeling fine. But, I have always had situational anxiety which means I would be anxious in elevators, planes, motel rooms, awakeing in the night and feeling trapped...so I used valium only on occassion for these problems.
I went through hell after stopping Prosax and am now back on it although my doctor has advised me to try Zoloft. He thinks that it may help more with my anxiety attacks. I feel that starting a new drug at this time may cause all kinRAB of side effects. Does anyone out there agree with me or can offer advice as to whether I should start using Zoloft. Will it actually help more with my anxiety as depression is not my major problem.
