I had chest pains for about 2-3 months for about 75% of the time. I also had muscle twiching, shortness of breath, falling feeling in chest, what felt like heart fluttering, lump in the throat feeling, etc. I read in a book that when your chest tightens up that you should take a deep breath in and hold it, then let it out slowly. That seemed to work. I was worried about my heart, constantly checking my pulse, taking my blood pressure and thinking about it. I stopped it all, for the most part. I still have a little feeling here or there and my anxiety starts up a bit. But I have noticed a HUGE improvement in the last 45-60 days. Not sure if it's what helped but I've been taking B-Vitamins twice a day. I went to a vitamin store and bought some for $15 (60 day supply). They have a lot out there for stress relieft. It's supposed to help with your mood and for anxiety- kind of to calm you down. I don't notice a mellow feeling but my anxiety has decreased. B-Vitamins are especially good for women who are on birthcontrol (me) because the pill supposedly depleats our B-Vitamins. I didn't notice an improvement until about a month after I started. Try it! It won't hurt.

Did you feel and see Your Muscle twiching,as its either My Heart or Muscle that I can see moving. Its near my Heart, and then I can see near My Stomach it moving aswell.

Would that just be my Wall Muscle moving because its being used all the time?

I have heard good things about B-Vitamins,I may give them a try.

My Anxiety got worse when a Boy I knew of aged 20 Died of a Heart Attack, and Me at the Same time have had these Pains in My Chest, and have been with me ever since,I think because he Died,I think that I will aswell.

I just want to get rid of these Worrys, and get back to The Life I had,and with Christmas coming up,I want to enjoy that aswell.

i know how you feel.
Its like your waiting for the next panic attack to happen.
or wondering why you don't have any chest pains or trouble breathing?

today i had a sore arm, and before thinking of anything else i immediatly thought *HEART ATTACK*
i have had my blood done, my EKG all within the last month ... but still a constant worry.
i wish you well.

Hi,I have been suffering from Chest Pains for Fours Weeks,I went to My Doctor who sent me for Blood Tests,an ECG,And Chest Scan which all came back fine.He said it could be my Wall Muscle.

But since Saturday I have had hot and Coldness,My Heart Beating Fast,Feeling Sick,Breatlessness, and shakes and shivers which is with me all the time, and keeps me up at Night.

I have been back to the Doctor on Monday, and he said my Heart sounded Fine, and my Blood Oxygen was fine, but I am still uffering the same.

Is it more Symptoms of my Wall Muscle,or am I having Panic Attacks worrying I am going to die?

Someone on The Heart Disorder Forum advised that I should maybe Post on here.

Thanks.

Never saw the muscles in my chest move. But sure did feel it inside. But I did see other muscles twitching (arms, legs, etc) We have muscles all over... so it could be that. Just try and ignore it. I know from personal experience that it's easier to say it than do it. But just try and I bet you'll feel better. The b-vitamins might help too. Do some research on the benefits of it. Like I said, it can't hurt you.

Does anyone know anything that helps Chest Wall Pains?

I have used a Freezing Gel for a few Weeks, but it does not seem to help the Pain, which is with me all day.

I have been resting aswell, but that hasnt helped much either.

Thanks.

I had my ECG,Chest Scan, and Blood Pressure taken 4 Weeks ago,but did not have the Symptoms then, that I have now which is shaking, more pains, hot and cold, and more fear of death.
Would the results be different now than 4 Weeks ago? is it worth asking for another check?,or shall I just put it to one side and take my Mind off it?

I do try and take my mind off it,but when I try and think of things I want to do in the weeks and Months to come, like watching my Football Team,or thinking of Christmas,I worry that there is no point enjoying it as I will die anyway eventually.

Its Horrible having this,Ive just got to find a way to get back to my Way of Life.

Hi Steve,

I really don't have an answer on how to get rid of the chest pains, but I just wanted to let you know that I went through the exact same thing.

My issue was that I didn't believe anyone (docs) when they told me it wasn't heart related, I was sure that it was and death was certain!

I'd say I dealt with chest pains for the better part of 2-3 years straight before it finally let up. Once it let up, I think it finally hit me that this isn't chest pain that's heart related that's going to kill me.

Oh yeah, one thing that did help alleviate the pain was when I began to run on a regular basis. I also think that getting on a steady exercise routine could help get you through it. Of course you want to clear it with your doc that it's ok to exercise first.

Good luck and hang in there, the most important thing I wanted to let you know is that your not alone with it.

I think I must just have an Anxiety Problem,I suppose it doesnt help with me thinking about it all the Time Everyday.

I will take Your advice, thanks for The Help.

I have had this on and off for years. The best relief I ever experienced was after hypnotherapy, I felt fantastic, and didnt experience them for a year or so. Part of my problem is over breathing, and I find that sometimes I get relief from concentrating on slowly breathing using my stomach instead of my lungs for a few minuets. I hope this helps, its an awful feeling.
Andy
