Hi All,

I have been taking Lexapro for about a year now for what I think is Anxiety. I have been on anti depressants for over 10 years. I have always been anxious and feel uncomfortable speaking to almost anyone. I am a 39 year old male and can't seem to speak clearly when I am having to interact with people that I don't know very well. My voice starts sounding horse and I feel like I am going to studder and know I am not very clear. I don't know if this is anxiety or a social phobia or if maybe something else is wrong with me, but it makes it difficult to communicate with any people. It just feels like I can't control how I speak and I try even harder which makes it even worse. Having a few drinks can help me settle down as well as speak clearly. My question is, does this happen to anyone else out there? If yes, what anti depressant do you take if any? I am in the business world and this has made life very difficult. Any advise would be great. Thanks!
