anxiety and depression

I would like to find a long term medication for anxiety and depresssion. I am on xanax right now but, I would like to find something that maybe I could take and it would stay in my system and work better. Does anyone have any suggestion?:(

Everyone is different so it would be hard to say... I know that Effexor helps me and I had a lot of anxiety. Also Prozac and Abilify. It is all in finding the right corabination. I personally would not take xanax if they paid me! It is so addicting. Sincerely, searchin
