I'm a 22 year old female and I have horrible anxiety. Sept 08 I made my first trip to the ER because I had no idea what was going on, did their tests, everything came back Ok, gave me a shot of anxiety meRAB and I was good to go. Kept happening for a few weeks after that then stopped for a whole year. October 09 same thing...was scared and went to the ER, they did their tests and everything was fine. Now I'm back to square 1 again. Tightness of chest, my stomach feels as if it's too full to breathe with so I breathe with my chest which in turn strains my chest and makes it hurt. I have blurry vision at times, tingly and nurabness of my left arm, my chest is very tense. Sometimes at night when I go to bed I start to fall asleep and the minute I fall asleep I feel like I'm flying or I get really dizzy but I'm asleep and it wakes me up startled because the feeling scares me.

Any ideas on how to stop this, or anything?

Hello there, I am sorry to hear about this! Anxiety is very tough to deal with. Have you also looked into panic disorder? It's possible that you may have some of both. I would definitely talk to another doctor about this rather than letting it go on its own and having to visit the ER when things get bad. Instead, it would really be easier for you to try to tackle it now and prevent it from getting to that point. A psychologist or psychiatrist would be good to talk to. I started off by talking to a counselor about my anxiety and depression (although I am doing much better with the depression), then I decided to try medication. It took a little bit of time to find the right medication for me (I am now taking Prozac on a daily basis, Xanax only as needed). I am soon going to possibly try to ONLY take the Xanax as needed and see how I do on it, since I've been doing much better and a lot of the stress in my life has slowed down and is more manageable. Talking to a doctor/counselor can help you find out what causes these symptoms and feelings and ways to help prevent them. It's hard to go through it on your own, so definitely don't be afraid to reach out and talk to someone about it! Best of luck to you and take care!

It sounRAB to me like you are suffering from panic disorder which ive suffered for 20+ years and still having problems. You are still Young see a dr and talk to them about it and they will suggest if you need meRAB or maybe therapy?????
