My girlfriend has always had mood swings, but recently they've gotten worse. She has also been put on an antidepressant by her psychiatrist, who told her that it would make her "highs very high" and her "lows very low." The moods swings are very hard to deal with because of this. Is there an antidepressant that doesn't have a drastic effect on her mood swings?
