Antibotics and Diarrhea

I was in the hospitial from Sunday thru Wednesday,for a bad UTI they had me on 2 IV antibotics and whe I was released they sent me home on 2 weeks of 500mgs twice a day Augmentin (amoxicillian) and when I take it BOTh times I have a diarrhea movement,is this common? I dont feel bad but the diarrhea is just bothersome...Just wanted to see if this is a common side effect and if I need to be worried? Thanks so much
 
Diarrhea is a common side effect of antibiotics.

Some doctors will tell their patients to take acidophillus (my spelling is probably way off) along with the antibiotic to help prevent this. Another way to help with the diarrhea is to eat yogurt that contains the live and active cultures.
