hI,
Is it true that (PPI) proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole,etc) is always prescribed with antibiotics, also what is the reason for this?.. If so, when should the PPI be taken and at what dosage. ? Am asking cause sometimes doctor prescribes my antibiotic with PPI and at other times another doc does not give a PPI? So those in medical field (nurse, doctor) please reply.
